Comedy fans in Wells are in for a treat this May as even more top comedians have been announced for Wells Comedy Festival 2025, with extra shows added due to overwhelming demand.

The festival, which runs from 23rd to 25th May, has unveiled new additions to the line-up, including Dancing On Ice star and Taskmaster champion Lou Sanders, festival favourite Spencer Jones, and Live at the Apollo's Hal Cruttenden, who returns with a brand-new tour show. Edinburgh Comedy Award nominee Lucy Pearman has also joined the bill.

Due to high demand, extra shows have been added for Simon Amstell and Sara Pascoe, giving fans another chance to catch their much-anticipated sets.

They join a stellar line-up that already includes Rosie Jones, Amy Gledhill, Glenn Moore, Rhys James, Jessica Fostekew, Nick Helm, Chloe Petts, Joe Kent-Walters, Chris Cantrill, Thanyia Moore, Mat Ewins, Michael Akadiri, and many more.

Festival-goers are also being urged to book for the Friday and Saturday Night Galas, where multiple acts from the weekend will take to the stage in a packed comedy showcase.

Tickets for all shows are on sale now.
