The Bishop's Palace and Gardens in Wells will once again light up for Christmas with its "Sparkle" Garden Illuminations.
The popular after-dark experience will run from 5 pm to 8 pm on special late-night openings between Saturday, 29 November 2025 and Sunday, 4 January 2026.
Visitors can explore the palace's inner gardens, transformed with festive lights and decorations, plus new features including a lantern tree, illuminated woodland, extra pathway lighting and an extended light tunnel.
The medieval palace rooms will be dressed for Christmas using foliage gathered from the site's own gardens. A roaring fire will greet guests in the entrance hall, and the Schools Eco-Exhibition will return.
Seasonal food and drink, live music, and a visit from Father Christmas will also feature.
Merryn Kidd, CEO of The Palace Trust, said: "Our Christmas Illuminations are always a highlight of the year. Paired with the decorated Palace rooms, they offer a fun and memorable way for families and visitors of all ages to celebrate the festive season in Wells."
Tickets and full dates are available via the Bishop's Palace website.
