Wells Cathedral hosts free family fun throughout the summer holidays

Wells Cathedral is offering a full programme of family activities this summer, with games, trails and creative sessions running throughout the school holidays.
Children and families are invited to enjoy free drop-in events, outdoor games and hands-on exploration during their visit.
From now through August, the Camery Garden will be open daily with giant garden games including Jenga, Connect Four and Dominoes.
Children can also search for the hidden peep-hole to St Andrew's Well, tucked away in the historic walled garden.
Explorer Backpacks are available from the Welcome Desk, offering maps, activity cards and sensory tools to help younger visitors engage with the Cathedral's history.
Free themed activity sessions are running every Tuesday and Wednesday from 10.30am to 3.30pm until 20 August.
Events take place in the Education Room and Camery Garden, with nature-based crafts such as butterfly art, bird spotting, and dam building. No booking is required, and all sessions are free with adult admission.
Children's Lunch Boxes can be picked up from The Loft Café, which is open daily and caters to a range of dietary needs. Admission is free for visitors aged 18 and under, with adult tickets valid for re-entry for 12 months.
