Wells care home in running for South West Care Home of the Year

A Wells care home has been shortlisted for one of the top awards in the South West social care sector.

Fletcher House, part of the not-for-profit Somerset Care Group, is a finalist in the Care Home of the Year category at the South West Care Awards 2025.

The home, which offers residential, respite, day care and dementia support, was nominated for delivering consistently high-quality care in a nurturing and professional environment.

Annie Northover, Registered Manager at Fletcher House, said: "On behalf of the whole Fletcher House team, I would like to express my thanks to those who have nominated our care home for this award.

"It is an honour to be shortlisted, but what means even more to us is that people's experiences of Fletcher House inspired those nominations. Being shortlisted reflects the incredible team I'm proud to lead, and the high-quality care we strive to deliver for our residents."

The winner will be announced at the South West Care Awards ceremony on Thursday, 24 October 2025.
