TePe in Wells, UK, is lauded for gender equity, making the 2025 Best Workplaces for Women list.

TePe, the Wells-based oral health company, has been named one of the UK's Best Workplaces for Women 2025 in the small business category, recognising its strong workplace culture and commitment to gender equity.

The UK arm of the Swedish, family-owned firm, which specialises in high-quality dental hygiene products, was selected following outstanding employee feedback and an independent assessment by Great Place To Work® UK.

This latest accolade follows two others for TePe this year—Best Workplaces™ and Best Workplaces for Wellbeing™—marking the third time the company has been honoured in 2025 alone.

According to survey data, 97% of TePe's employees say it is a great place to work, far above the national average of 54%. The company employs 32 staff at its UK headquarters in Wells and maintains a notably high retention rate, with nearly 10% of the workforce having been with the firm for more than 11 years.

Employee responses praised the firm for creating a physically safe and fair workplace, with 100% agreeing that staff are treated equally regardless of race or sex, and that the facilities support a positive working environment.

Staff also highlighted regular wellbeing initiatives such as summer BBQs, team away days, and wellness walks, as well as opportunities for professional development and international trips to TePe's Swedish headquarters.

The Best Workplaces for Women list recognises organisations that actively support gender equity through leadership opportunities, wellbeing initiatives, and a balanced representation of women and men across all levels.

Benedict Gautrey, Managing Director of Great Place To Work® UK, said the companies listed are "moving beyond good intentions and delivering real, measurable progress," and are "dismantling outdated norms" while prioritising empowerment and leadership opportunities for women.
