Stoberry Park Junior School's Mini Police Officers rally support for local food bank

By Laura Linham   19th Jun 2023

Well done, Stoberry Mini Police!
Well done, Stoberry Mini Police!

Showing community spirit and a heart for service, Stoberry Park Junior School's Mini Police Officers have come together to support a local food bank, providing essential supplies to those in need.

The Mini Police Officers, a group of civic-minded students, decided to aid the Wells Foodbank and Furniture Storehouse Project in their ongoing effort to assist local families and individuals struggling with food insecurity.

To jump-start their initiative, the young officers took the proactive step of drafting and sending letters to parents and guardians within their school community.

These letters outlined their plans to support the food bank and requested food and essential supplies donations.

After gathering the donated items, the group made a special visit to the Wells Foodbank, where they contributed their collection to the food bank's stocks.
