Are you ready for an unforgettable festive adventure?

Join us on Sunday, 1 December for a Santa Abseil, where you'll descend 60 feet down the breathtaking Cheddar Gorge, all in support of St Margaret's Hospice.

Sponsored by Blackdown Finance, this event is your chance to make this Christmas truly special—whether it's for the thrill, the views, or the cause. Suit up in your Santa gear, gather your courage, and abseil down one of Somerset's most iconic locations. With your family and friends cheering you on, it's a heart-racing, festive experience you won't want to miss!

After completing the abseil, you'll be greeted at the bottom with a well-earned medal and a festive mince pie. Whether you're an adrenaline junkie or just looking for a fun way to raise funds for a great cause, the Santa Abseil is an event for everyone.

Last year, 50 brave Santas came together to conquer the gorge, raising an incredible £12,500 for St Margaret's Hospice. This year, we're aiming to beat that—and we need your help!

One of last year's Santas, Phillippa, a long-time St Margaret's receptionist, took on the challenge with her daughter, Lisa. Phillippa wasn't fazed by being the oldest participant. "If I can do it, anyone can! It was such a supportive experience, and the feeling of raising over £1,000 for a local charity at Christmas was unforgettable."

Every penny raised makes a huge difference. Just raising the minimum sponsorship of £125 could provide vital family support for a child or young person grieving the loss of a parent - making your participation especially meaningful this Christmas season.

Don't wait - spots are limited! Head to St Margaret's Hospice | Santa Abseil to register for just £35. For group bookings or questions, email [email protected].

Make this Christmas one to remember by supporting St Margaret's Hospice. Feel the festive cheer, conquer the cliffs, and make a difference!

Be brave, be Santa, and abseil for your local hospice this Christmas!
