The K's, the breakthrough indie band of 2024, have announced a gig at Studio24 in Wells on their upcoming UK tour, as they continue their rapid rise following a Top 3 debut album and a string of sell-out shows.

The Merseyside four-piece, who made their Glastonbury debut in 2024 and have played main stages at Reading, Leeds, Isle of Wight, and Kendal Calling, will play Wells on Friday, March 7, 2025.

The gig is expected to be one of the last chances to see them in a smaller venue before they step up to even bigger stages.

The UK's next big indie band?

Since forming in Earlestown in 2017, The K's have gone from playing pub gigs to festival headline slots. Their debut album, I Wonder If The World Knows?, landed at number three in the UK album charts, driven by an army of fans who have followed them since their early days.

They have already sold out Manchester's O2 Victoria Warehouse, played to 30,000 people supporting Blossoms, and been named Breakthrough Act of the Year at the 2024 Northern Music Awards. Their second album, Pretty On The Internet, isn't even out yet, but pre-sales alone would already place it in the UK Top 10.

What to expect in Wells

Known for their fired-up indie anthems and lyrics that reflect real life, The K's bring a mix of raw emotion and high-energy performance. Songs like 'No Place Like Home' and 'Heart On My Sleeve' have already clocked up millions of streams, and the band has built a reputation for crowd-heavy singalongs and electric live shows.

Speaking to NME, frontman Jamie Boyle said: "I feel like people can tell when someone isn't being authentic. Our songs are about real life—things that matter. We see every day how much this music means to people, and that's what keeps us going."

Guitarist Ryan Breslin added: "We've played to three blokes in a pub who didn't care we were there, and now we're playing to thousands. If you believe in what you're doing, stick at it."
