Drivers from Wells are preparing for more roadworks delays, as a new set are due to start on the A39 road to Glastonbury on Monday (September 2) and will last until Christmas.

Temporary traffic lights will be set up on Monday on the main road through Coxley and will be in place for 16 weeks until December 23.

The roadworks are to enable Bristol Water to replace an old water main with a new one, and will be situated at various points through Coxley through to Polsham during the 16 weeks.

While these roadworks are taking place, Stoppers Lane in Upper Coxley will also be closed from September 30 to October 11 for structural drainage works to take place.
