If you've got questions about crime prevention or simply want to familiarise yourself with your local law enforcement, mark your calendar for 6th September.

Members of the Wells Neighbourhood Policing Team are set to make an appearance at Wells Library, where they'll be giving out crime prevention tools and offering advice to the public.

The event, scheduled from 11:00 to 12:00 at Wells Library on Union Street, provides a golden opportunity for residents to engage directly with the police force. It's not just about asking questions; it's about building a community that understands its policing needs and how to address them.

"A strong community is an informed community," said a spokesperson for the Wells Neighbourhood Policing Team. "We're here to answer questions, sure, but we're also here to equip residents with the tools and knowledge they need to protect themselves and their neighbourhood."

If you've ever wondered about the best way to secure your home, or you're curious about the latest trends in local crime, this is your chance to get answers directly from the source.

The police will be offering a variety of crime prevention tools, likely ranging from information leaflets to possibly more tangible items like security markers.

Say hello, ask questions, and leave a little more prepared to protect both yourself and your community.
