Police in Wells are investigating reports of anti-social behaviour around Cathedral Green and Ethel Street, where residents have complained of people banging on doors and windows late at night.

The Wells beat team has spoken to local residents about the incidents and is working to identify those responsible. Officers have urged anyone with information to come forward.

A spokesperson for the beat team said: "We are aware of reports of anti-social behaviour in the area and are looking into the matter. If you have any information or would like to report further incidents, please call 101."

Residents concerned about anti-social behaviour in their neighbourhood can also report incidents online via the Avon and Somerset Police website.
