Kim Hawes of Transporting Somerset, in association with Mendip Community Transport, has notified St Cuthbert (Out) Parish Council (and all parishes along the route) of a timetable for the Number 67 bus between Burnham-on-Sea and Wookey Hole, including Wells.

The decision was made to run the additional service from November 23 until December 28 inclusive, and then reintroduce from Easter 2020 and run for an additional six month period over the summer.

This option would avoid the quietest months, especially January and February when patronage will be lower, allowing for really valuable collection of user data over the summer months.

The service will be evaluating the customer numbers to see if it would be a viable service in the future.

The 67 Community Bus is funded by the parishes of St Cuthbert (Out), Burnham and Highbridge, Mark, Burnham Without, East Huntspill, Wells City Council and Wookey.
