Getting the prescriptions you need when housebound through ill health and self-isolating can be a serious problem.

But to the rescue comes Naomi Sharp on her little motorbike, or one of her other volunteers.

This team from the Wells Coronavirus Network are collecting and delivering prescriptions from pharmacies for 80 vulnerable people in the area.

"I was training as a web designer," said Naomi, "but recruitment was stopped by the lockdown.

"This voluntary work gives me a sense of purpose and a way to help in this crisis."

The prescriptions delivery team get assignments through the Wells Coronavirus Network phone helpline 01749 467079.
