Mendip Hills looking pretty as light dusting of snow settles near Wells

By Tim Lethaby 16th Jul 2021

The first snow of this winter fell near Wells early this morning (November 14), as the Mendip Hills received a light dusting that has settled.

Trevor Lethaby took these photos along Durston Drove, near Wells, this morning.

The weather forecast for the city from the Met Office suggests that there could still be a few sleety showers this morning, before the rain returns.

However, the forecast is looking mainly dry for the carnival tomorrow night.

If you have taken any nice snow photos this morning, we would love to add them to this story. Please email them to tim.lethaby@nub.news.
