Sadlers Wine Bar and Lounge in Wells hosted its third Leopard Print Bingo night last week, raising funds for Emma Woodcock, who is running the London Marathon next year in aid of the National Rheumatoid Arthritis Society.

Emma is taking on the challenge in memory of her mum, who she sadly lost in March this year. So far, she has raised over £1,800.

The popular bingo nights are held on the first Sunday of every month at Sadlers, Heritage Courtyard, Wells – with the next event taking place on 7 September.

Organisers say they have been overwhelmed by the generosity of local businesses donating prizes, but are still seeking more for next month's event. Anyone who would like to contribute can email [email protected].
