Aspiring bakers in Wells, here's your chance to shine on the fifteenth series of the Great British Bake Off.

With judges Paul Hollywood and Prue Leith expected to return, the Channel 4 show is looking for applicants. Could you be the next star baker? Here's how to apply.

Eligibility criteria for Great British Bake Off

• You need to be at least 16 years of age by 1 January 2024.
• Professional bakers, chefs, or cooks are not eligible, nor are those who have acquired a professional cooking qualification in the past decade.
• You must be available for filming between April and August 2024.

Application process

1. Complete the online application form by 1 PM on Tuesday, 2 January 2024.
2. If your application is accepted, you will be invited for a phone interview.
3. Subsequently, you may be invited to London for an in-person interview and screen test.
4. A real-life technical challenge could be your final step to make it onto the series.

The show's makers, Love Productions, are seeking contestants who possess skill, enthusiasm, and a genuine love for baking. A diverse range of contestants is also desired. The new series is set to air next autumn on Channel 4.
