Green-fingered residents and schools celebrated in Wells in Bloom 2024 awards

Wells City Council has once again recognised the green-fingered efforts of local residents and schools with this year's Wells in Bloom competition. The winners were celebrated at two well-attended awards ceremonies, with the council extending thanks to the sponsors and dedicated volunteer judges who made the event possible.
The first ceremony, held at the Bishop's Palace on 4 July, honoured the Schools Awards, with presentations made by Mayor of Wells, Cllr Jasmine Browne. A second event took place at Wells Town Hall on 4 October, where Deputy Mayor Cllr Louis Agabani presented awards in the Allotments, Gardens, Commerce, and Communities categories.
