Blessed with excellent weather and the choice of Saturday rather than Sunday, Glastonbury Male Voice Choir made a popular return to Wells with a concert on the bandstand in Victoria Park.

The afternoon was organised by the City of Wells Lions in aid of St Margaret's Hospice.

St Margaret's Hospice provides high quality and responsive palliative care to patients and their families facing a life-limiting illness across Somerset.

A special thanks go out to the volunteers from the hospice fundraising team and the City of Wells Lions who set up the marquees, laid out the chairs and who prepared and sold teas, cakes and soft drinks. All in a good cause.
