The Wells Annual Boules Tournament is set to take place on Sunday, June 30, at the Bishop's Palace, promising a day of fun for families and local clubs.

This community event, organised by Wells Rotary, aims to raise funds for the Wells Defibrillator and High Street First Aid projects.

Participants can enjoy the game of boules, also known as pétanque in France, within the picturesque Palace Gardens. The event starts at 9:30 am when the first boule will be thrown, and it culminates with the grand final at 4:30 pm. Attendees can also relax on the lawn with a picnic while listening to the smooth sounds of the Panama Jazz band.

The tournament is open to everyone, with no prior boules experience required, making it a perfect outing for those looking to try something new while supporting vital local initiatives.

Teams of four are encouraged to sign up to compete, enjoying a friendly and relaxed atmosphere. It's a fantastic opportunity to gather family and friends for a cause that is close to the heart of the Wells community.
