As the newly elected County Councillor for the Mendip Hills Division I would like to thank my opposition David Baker and David Swain for being gracious in defeat. I would like to thank Josh Burr, Ian Booth and especially my wife Caroline for their help in leafleting across a very wide area. Last but certainly not least big thanks to the 1,450 of you who put your faith in me to represent you for the next five years. Whether you voted for me or not I will do my best to represent you all at County Hall during a period of great change as we become a Unitary Council. I would also like to thank Tessa Munt and our local Liberal Democrat team for supporting me throughout my campaign when I started to flag. Kind regards Edric Hobbs, County Councillor for The Mendip Hills
