Wells businesses, it's time to seize a golden opportunity - the Somerset Chamber of Commerce has set up the new Somerset Supply Chain website to connect local enterprises to the £23.6 million Glastonbury Town Deal.
This scheme is a part of the government's Towns Fund initiative, aligning with its Levelling Up agenda, which has chosen Glastonbury as one of 101 towns to benefit from this large pool of funding.
"The new Somerset Supply Chain website ensures that Wells businesses can pitch for work contracts that match their skill sets," saidEmma Rawlings, Chief Executive of Somerset Chamber of Commerce. "It's a pivotal opportunity that should not be missed."
If you are a Wells-based business, you can register on the Somerset Supply Chain website to get timely information about work tenders from the Glastonbury Town Deal programme. These projects cover a range of sectors and offer tremendous growth prospects for Wells businesses.
Dr Lynne Sedgmore, Chair of the Glastonbury Town Deal Board, also encouraged regional businesses to get involved. "There's considerable momentum behind the Glastonbury Town Deal projects. Now is the time for Wells businesses to register and contribute as local suppliers."
