By Tim Lethaby 16th Jul 2021

The South Western Ambulance Service NHS Foundation Trust has thanked the people of Wells for the support that staff have received during the coronavirus crisis.

The ambulance service has been flat out dealing with the coronavirus pandemic across the South West, but wanted to thank Wells residents for their encouraging support and thank yous.

A trust spokesperson said: "Staff and volunteers of the South Western Ambulance Service have been overwhelmed by the incredible generosity and support offered to them by organisations and members of the general public in Wells.

"We would like to say a huge thank you to everyone who has shown their appreciation to people working for the South Western Ambulance Service in recognition of their dedication and tireless hard work to keep us safe at this time."
