For the second consecutive year, the local Cathedral is reaching out to the community with a heartwarming initiative.

The Cathedral Café is providing a 'warm space' along with a 'warm rail' for those in need during the colder months.

The 'warm rail', located by the Cathedral Shop, is already operational. It invites community members to donate warm clothing, which can then be taken by those in need, free of charge.

This simple yet impactful gesture of kindness ensures that no one has to go without essential warm clothing during the winter.

Additionally, the Cathedral Café is opening its doors on Monday, Tuesday, and Friday afternoons from 2.00 p.m. to 4.00 p.m. as a 'warm space' for anyone seeking a place to stay warm. Visitors to the Café during these times will be welcomed with a complimentary cup of tea or filter coffee.

The Cathedral also provides an opportunity for visitors to the Café to contribute towards this initiative. Donations are welcomed and will go towards maintaining these services, ensuring that those who might benefit from a warm drink, a warm place, or warm clothing, are aware of what's available.
