Tickets are now available for this year's Carols by Candlelight concerts at Wells Cathedral.

The popular festive tradition returns with three performances on Friday 19, Saturday 20 and Sunday 21 December 2025, each starting at 7.00 p.m.

Audiences will hear the acclaimed Wells Cathedral Choir perform seasonal choral classics and festive arrangements, interspersed with poetry and readings from a special guest.

More than 3,000 candles will light the cathedral each evening, creating a dramatic and atmospheric backdrop for the music and spoken word.

Guests can also pre-book a two-course dinner in The Loft café at 5.00 p.m., available alongside concert tickets for £21.50 per person.

For an additional £2, concertgoers may dedicate a candle to a loved one, with the option to include a printed message in the souvenir programme.

Wells Cathedral is a wheelchair accessible venue. Accessible seating and complimentary carer tickets are available by emailing [email protected].

Proceeds from the concerts will support the charitable work of the Cathedral.
