A39 closed just outside of Wells due to crash

The A39 is closed just outside of Wells following what is believed to have been a serious crash.
The incident is believed to have happened near to Brownes Garden Centre, and the road is closed from Littlewell Farm on the Coxley side, to the Keward area on the Wells side.
No more details are available at this time, but the air ambulance is believed to have been called, along with at least five emergency crews.
Traffic delays are being caused in the area, and motorists are being urged to find a different route.
