Cedars Hall is delighted to launch a new music strand in collaboration with Oxford Lieder. Celebrating Song features vocal rising stars on the brink of major careers. For this inaugural concert, we welcome the mezzo-soprano Joanna Harries, a 2021/22 Young Artist with the National Opera Studio. She and pianist Sholto Kynoch perform songs by Schumann and, less familiarly, a group from Scandinavia including Grieg's stunning, folk-infused cycle Haugtussa.
