An intimate evening of lute songs and solos by John Dowland and other composers from England and France around the year 1600, performed by two legendary stars of the early music world. With a career spanning nearly 40 years and over 100 recordings, Dame Emma Kirkby is still at the forefront of Early Music performance. She is joined for this special recital by her long-time musical partner, the Swedish lutenist Jakob Lindberg.
