The Rib garden is only open one day a year - and in 2025 it will be open on Saturday 21st June from 12 noon to 5pm as a part of the National Garden Scheme, with all proceeds going to charity.

The Rib is one of the few houses in England that can boast a cathedral and a sacred well in its garden. Whilst the garden is compact, it delivers a unique architectural and historical punch.

Long established trees, interesting shrubs and more recently planted mixed borders frame the view in the main garden. Ancient walled orchard and traditionally planted cottage garden.
