Christmas at The Bishop's Palace has been a treasured family tradition for many years, and we're delighted to welcome Father Christmas back for 2026.

Set amongst frosty trees, beautifully wrapped presents and twinkling lights, Father Christmas will be waiting to meet families in one of the Palace's most atmospheric rooms, ready to share a little Christmas magic.

Make a day of it with a daytime ticket to explore the Palace and gardens, enjoy a festive family trail and seasonal crafts. Or choose an evening visit and combine your Father Christmas experience with our magical Christmas Illuminations.

Adults require a day ticket, an annual pass or a Friends of the Palace Membership for day visits or an Illuminated Palace ticket or Friends of the Palace Membership for evening visits
