Medieval Weekend

Join us this August Bank Holiday Weekend and immerse yourself in 800 years of history. 

Encamped in the stunning ruins of the Great Hall, you'll discover historical re-enactment group and medieval weapons experts Bowlore. 

They will be giving lively displays throughout the day, with demonstrations, and choreographed combat. They will be using longbows, pallaxes, Dane hammers, Falchion & Langmesser to name but a few! 

Make your way to The Black Dog, Bowlore's weapons and armour tent, to get a glimpse of Medieval life. Members of the Bowlore troupe will be on hand throughout the day to share their expertise and answer questions.

• Entrance to the Medieval Weekend is included with general admission 
• Pay once and visit all year! – full price tickets include 12 months re-entry to The Bishop's Palace and Gardens (some event days excluded)
