Wells City Council has announced an exciting new programme of Sunday event markets for 2026, bringing themed markets, new traders, and a fresh experience to the city centre throughout the year. Running alongside the already established Saturday markets, these events will offer residents and visitors an even greater variety of stalls, activities, attractions, and displays while supporting local businesses and independent traders.

The Sunday market dates for 2026 are 14 June, 12 July, 9 August, 13 September, 8 November, and a special two-day Christmas Market on 12–13 December. The Christmas event will extend across the town centre and include additional stalls, festive displays, and family-friendly activities, creating one of the largest seasonal events hosted in Wells.
