Join us for a fun and fascinating Museum Open Day on Saturday 22nd August, 11:00–3:30 at the Somerset Earth Science Centre, Moons Hill Quarry, BA3 5JU. (Find us next to Wainwright quarry, at Stoke St Michael, turn right into car park behind security cabin at main entrance.)

Explore amazing fossils, rocks and minerals, see our Mary Anning exhibition, and ask an expert about your geological finds. Enjoy geo-arts, crafts and a time trail for children, plus fossils and minerals for sale. Relax by the lake with tea and homemade cake.
