There are scheduled to be temporary traffic lights on the B3139 heading out of Wells towards Dulcote this week.

The lights should be in place from Monday (June 1) until June 12 from the top of Constitution Hill to the junction of Torhill Lane by Tor Woods.

They are being used to enable Truespeed to blow cables for their ultrafast broadbroad and clear any blockages found.

Also, Truespeed's works at the Strawberry Way roundabout to build a cabinet and connect it up are scheduled to be completed by Tuesday (June 2).

Truespeed are also planning to install a duct in Sadler Street between Monday and Wednesday (June 3).

Other roadworks in Wells this week include:

The temporary traffic lights in North Road to enable Bristol Water to repair a leak should be removed by Monday.

At some point over the week, stop and go traffic control is scheduled to take place for a day in Bath Road, West Horrington, to enable surface dressing works to take place.
