Burrington Combe will be closed between 8am and 5pm from Monday December 9 to Friday December 13 for resurfacing and sign improvements.

The diversion for HGVs takes them into Wells, down the A39 Bristol Hill and along Portway, them on to the A371 out towards Cheddar.

Other roadworks in Wells this week include:

On Thursday December 12, Western Power Distribution will be doing overhead reconductoring works in Lovers Walk.

A two-week permit for scaffolding will start on Wednesday December 11 in Sadler Street, at the gable end of 6 Cathedral Green next to the White Hart sign.
