Residents of Wells came together to celebrate the coronation of King Charles III with a joyous party on Cathedral Green and in the Bishops Palace on Saturday.

The festivities were attended by people of all ages, with many dressed in traditional attire.

Following the formalities of yesterday's Coronation, residents and visitors headed to Cathedral Green, where a stage had been set up for live music and entertainment. Local performers entertained the crowd throughout the day, with food and drink stalls offering refreshments to attendees.
