Wells and Mendip Museum are looking for a Volunteer Learning Officer

Wells & Mendip Museum is looking for a skilled and enthusiastic educator to join their team.

They have a vacancy for a talented communicator interested in sharing our collections and stories through formal and informal learning programmes.

This is a particularly exciting time to become involved and help shape our Lottery funded 'Search & Learn' project, which is now underway, and also to work with other heritage partners in the city in delivering joint learning offerings on subjects like the Antony Gormley installation on the Cathedral West Front.

You may well have been a teacher or involved in education in some way, but you should have teaching skills and some awareness of the national curriculum.

Anyone volunteering will have all the advice and support necessary to develop their role.

Please see the website for more information about the museum, and if you are interested, please get in touch with the museum curator for an informal discussion, or call 01749 673477.
