Residents of Wells are gearing up to participate in the highly anticipated return of The Big Somerset Cricket Bash, hosted by St Margaret's Hospice on Sunday, 30 June.

This event promises a mix of sporting excitement and heartfelt community support at the famous Somerset County Cricket Ground.

Each participant in this unique event will enjoy a scenic 5 km walk through Taunton, a special event t-shirt, a delicious bacon sandwich or vegetarian option, and a refreshing pint of cider (or non-alcoholic alternative).

Mike Doyle, a current patient at the hospice's Yeovil Sunflower Centre, expressed his excitement about attending the event for the first time, focusing on enjoying the day with his family.
