Wells Cathedral School has been shortlisted for the Independent Schools of the Year Awards 2023, earning nominations for Independent Prep School of the Year and Co-educational Independent School of the Year.

The awards, now in their sixth year, have seen hundreds of schools from across the country submit entries in all 23 awards categories.

The nominations come as a recognition of the school's efforts in both preparatory education and its commitment to a co-educational learning environment.

The Independent Prep School of the Year category seeks to acknowledge schools that have shown a dedication to preparing students for future educational pursuits. In addition to the prep school recognition, Wells Cathedral School has also been noted for its work in co-educational learning.

Finalists will be announced on 6 September, and the winners will be revealed at an awards ceremony in central London in October.
