The awards, which are organised by Somerset Chamber of Commerce, mark their 20th year of celebrating the best in local business and are free to enter.

Launched at The Mount Somerset, near Taunton, the awards have been a cornerstone of business recognition in Somerset since 2005. Local accountancy firm Albert Goodman, which has supported the awards for 15 years, continues to serve as the main sponsor for the 2025 event.

Mike Cahill, Partner at Albert Goodman, said: "The Somerset Business Awards provide an incredible platform for businesses to gain the recognition they deserve. Entering the awards can boost your business profile and motivate your team while celebrating the very best in the county."

The Somerset Business Awards offer 14 categories, allowing businesses of all sizes in Wells to participate and showcase their achievements. David Crew, Managing Director of Somerset Chamber of Commerce, noted: "Winning an award can directly lead to new business opportunities and increased visibility for your brand."

Wells businesses are encouraged to submit their entries before midday on November 22 via the Somerset Business Awards website. Whether you're a family business, a start-up, or leading in sustainability, there's a category for every type of business to celebrate their success.
