Wells Blue School has achieved a remarkable feat by ranking in the top three of 92 secondary schools in Somerset. This significant achievement comes as per the provisional school performance tables, published just before half-term, which are based on the GCSE outcomes from the summer.

A key metric in these tables is the "Progress 8" score, a measure of the progress students have made across most of their subjects during their time at secondary school. The Blue School's impressive results have placed it substantially above the national averages, indicating that it is likely among the top 25 percent of schools across the country.

This accomplishment not only highlights the Blue School's excellence in academics but also positions it at the forefront of school performance in Somerset.

As the school continues to build on this success, the focus remains on providing quality education and fostering an environment where students can thrive and achieve their full potential.
