Old Mill, which has an office in Wells, is marking its 20th anniversary after growing from a regional accountancy practice into a professional services firm employing more than 300 people. The business was founded in 2006 and now operates from five offices across the South West.

Alongside Wells, Old Mill has offices in Exeter, Chippenham, Yeovil and Ilminster. The firm works across accountancy, tax, financial planning, corporate finance and business advisory services.

Its origins are in the rural sector, although the company has since expanded its work into industries including food and drink and property and construction. Old Mill says the expansion has come in response to changing demand from clients across the region.

The anniversary follows a significant change for the business last year. Old Mill and its outsourced finance division, Brook Financial, joined Kinbrook Group in November 2025.

Old Mill now forms part of Kinbrook's UK network, which the company says stretches across 24 offices and brings together a number of regional professional services firms.

Mark Neath, chief executive of Old Mill, said the company looked "very different" from the business established two decades ago, while its focus on long-term relationships had remained the same.

He added: "As we enter our third decade, we're excited about continuing to support our clients, our people and the communities we serve."
