Date: 21.03.2019Time: 03:45Location: Moffats Drive, South Horrington, WellsOne fire appliance from Wells was sent to a vehicle on fire, called in by a number of local residents. Crews arrived on scene and confirmed the vehicle well alight. Crews got to work with one firefighter in breathing apparatus and one hose reel jet to put the fire out. A second appliance was requested for water, with the second appliance from Wells being sent.Crews damped down the fire and used a thermal imaging camera to check for hot spots. The cause of the fire was deemed as accidental.
