There's the chance to try Ukrainian food and raise money for the war-torn country, at a special fundraising evening being held in Wells on June 9.

There will be an authentic Ukrainian five-course dinner, Ukrainian music, and a talk by ex army medic Steve Brooks about his experience of training the civilian defence force in Ukraine, at the event at the Elim Connect Centre.   

Tickets cost £25 and the money raised will go towards buying an armoured ambulance.
