Avon and Somerset Police have spoken to a young trio following vandalism yesterday (April 6) at Wells Cemetery.

The police have identified two boys and one girl in relation to the damage of some headstones that were pushed over yesterday afternoon.

Officers are set to visit the trio – and their parents – to discuss the incident.

The youngsters were also spoken to regarding the importance of adhering to coronavirus restrictions such as going outside for essential travel only or for one piece of daily exercise.
