The Libertines are heading to Pilton at the end of the summer for the Pilton Party.

Just as the echoes of Glastonbury 2024 begin to fade, the Pilton Party ramps up excitement by announcing The Libertines as this year's headliners.

The event, which acts as a thank you to the villagers, workers, and locals of Pilton, is scheduled for Friday, 6 September at Worthy Farm.

Fronted by the iconic Pete Doherty, The Libertines are poised to lead a lineup that is yet to be fully revealed.

In a departure from normal, tickets are available online via See Tickets, rather than local venues.

Whether the sale is being kept local is unknown at this stage.

The tickets cost £45 for adults and £20 for kids 12 and under. Should any tickets remain, they'll be sold at the gate for £50 and £25, respectively.

Festivities kick off at 5pm with the music wrapping by 11pm, topped off with a DJ set from Patmandu until midnight.

Transport for the event is sorted with shuttle bus services from Glastonbury Town Hall and Shepton Mallet Cenotaph, available between 5pm and 7pm, and returning from 11pm. The combined event and transport tickets go for £55 for adults and £30 for children.

Remember, there's no accommodation or camping options at the Pilton Party, so plan accordingly.

Typically, a Pilton Party headliner is a teaser for the next Glastonbury Festival — keep your eyes peeled for more from The Libertines next summer.
