Wells City Council and St Cuthbert Out Parish Council, alongside YMCA Brunel Group, have launched a survey to hear directly from 8 to 14-year-olds living in Wells and surrounding villages about what's available — and what isn't — when it comes to youth activities and support.

They're also calling on parents, carers, teachers, volunteers, and anyone who works with young people to share their views on what's already out there and where things need improving.

Two surveys are now live:

The aim is to map out the gaps so that youth services in Wells and nearby villages can actually reflect what local families need — not what someone in an office assumes they want.

A spokesperson said:

"Your voice is important. Whether you're a young person with ideas or an adult with experience, your input will help shape future opportunities for local children and young people."

But don't hang about — the deadline to complete the survey is Tuesday 27 May 2025.
