St. Margaret's Hospice seeks fundraising volunteers for exciting summer events

St. Margaret's Hospice is seeking friendly and enthusiastic volunteers to support their fundraising efforts at a variety of exciting events throughout the summer in Somerset.
The charity is looking for volunteers to help out at various shows, serving refreshments, bucket collections, selling merchandise, cheering on runners, and handing out medals to participants at events across Somerset.
Volunteers are also needed to marshal the 10km route and cheer on participants at The Big Somerset Cricket Bash on Sunday, June 25th.
Amy Garland, Head of Marketing and Engagement at St. Margaret's Hospice, said, "Being a Fundraising Volunteer is really flexible and great fun. You can volunteer to help us out as little or as often as you like, and there are lots of different roles available so you can find something to suit you!"
The Head of Volunteering, Mel Merrill, added, "You don't need any specific experience or qualifications to help fundraise for St. Margaret's, just a can-do attitude and a willingness to learn! We wouldn't be able to provide the care and support we do every year without the generosity of our amazing volunteers. They help us to raise vital funds so we can continue to provide care and support to people across Somerset."
By giving just two hours of their time, volunteers can pay for an hour's support to a family member at home with one of St. Margaret's patients.
The charity is asking people to register their interest today if they would like to make a difference in their community while having fun and supporting a great cause.
