Spinathon in aid of Wells Blue School former head of PE

A spinathon in memory of former Wells Blues School head of PE, Sam Holland, is taking place on Saturday (July 2).

The fundraiser is being held at Kingdom Training Gym on the Keward Mill Trading Estate from 10am to 4pm. As well as the spinathon, there will be refreshments and cake stall, as well as an auction and raffle.

All the money raised will go to Cancer Research and to the Blue School to help fund new sports equipment.

Sam Holland started working at the Blue School in September 1993, and had been working as head of PE up to her cancer diagnosis at Easter 2021. She passed away on July 3 2021.The sports hall at Wells Blue School was renamed Holland Hall in her memory.
