Best-selling royal biographer Andrew Lownie is set to appear at the Wells Festival of Literature this Thursday, 23 October, as national attention returns to Prince Andrew following his decision to renounce royal titles.
Lownie's book, Entitled: The Rise and Fall of the House of York, published in August, made headlines for its detailed account of Prince Andrew and Sarah Ferguson — including claims around Jeffrey Epstein, financial dealings, and alleged foreign links.

The author has featured in multiple national news interviews since the latest developments involving the Duke of York. His appearance in Wells will offer audiences a closer look at the extensive four-year research project behind the biography.
Lownie's book explores the couple's lives from childhood through marriage, and examines how royal roles have evolved under public scrutiny in the modern era.
His talk will take place at Cedars Hall, 4.15pm, Thursday 23 October. Tickets are available via the Wells Festival of Literature website.
