As always, Glastonbury is ready to dazzle with its unique blend of the mystical and the musical. Start your weekend in style at the Designer Preloved Styling Tour on Friday, from 11:00–13:00, at Rainbows End Café. It's the perfect opportunity to snag some preloved designer gems while enjoying a laid-back atmosphere.
For those who are spiritually inclined, the Psychic Fair is being held on Saturday, from 10:00–17:00, at Glastonbury Town Hall. Whether you're looking to have your cards read or simply want to soak up the mystical energy, this is the place to be.
If live music is more your speed, head to Forgive & Forget Presents: Mi Vida Loca on Friday night at The King Arthur pub. If you fancy a stroll through local goods, pop over to the Wells Market on Saturday from 10:00–14:30 in the Market Place. Grab some fresh produce, handmade crafts, or just enjoy the buzz of a lively market.

If you're a music fan, tickets are rapidly selling out for the upcoming UB40 tribute night at Studio24 in Wells, set to take place on Friday, 30th August 2024. Fans of the legendary reggae band are in for a treat as the tribute act is primed to deliver an evening packed with all the classic hits that made UB40 a household name. The event kicks off at 7:00 pm, promising to bring the sounds of "Red, Red Wine," "Kingston Town," and "Labour of Love" to the heart of Wells. With a setlist full of UB40 favourites, it's an ideal opportunity to gather your friends, put on your dancing shoes, and enjoy a night of nostalgia and good vibes.

Some advance notice: Truckfest South West is set to make its highly anticipated return to the Bath & West Showground in Shepton Mallet from 31st August to 1st September 2024, promising a thrilling weekend for truck enthusiasts and families alike. Since its launch in 1983, Truckfest has grown into a premier event across the UK, offering exciting attractions such as Monster Truck car crushing action, Arena Stunt Shows, and freestyle motocross performances. Visitors can also meet celebrities like 'Ice Road Trucker' Todd Dewey, explore a diverse display of trucks ranging from American rigs to vintage vehicles, and even take a ride on the adrenaline-pumping Slingshot Ride Truck. Tickets are available in advance, with prices starting at £18 for adults and £10 for children, and camping options are also offered.
